ON THIS DAY: Today marks the 42nd birthday of Fredro Starr, one third of the rap group Onyx, a man whose only rival is Raekwon in the Never Be Photographed Smiling Game.
In addition to his rap career, Fredro portrayed Bird on The Wire and was on the receiving end of Omar’s testimony in one of the more memorable setpieces in the series.
